About G-Son Studios
G-Son Studios is a historic Los Angeles recording space transformed into an intimate, community-driven creative venue in Atwater Village. Once home to a landmark recording studio that helped define the sound of the early 1990s, the studio now serves as a flexible environment for live performances, rehearsals, cultural programming, and private events.
While its walls carry deep musical history, G-Son today is focused on the present. We are committed to maintaining the authenticity and creative independence that shaped the studio’s past — while welcoming a new generation of artists, organizers, and audiences.
The 1,600+ square foot open layout allows events to adapt naturally to their vision, creating experiences that feel immersive, personal, and connected.
